Key requirements
- All entities providing telecommunications services or operating networks must align their operations with the provisions of this law within six months of its effective date.
- The company must pay the fee stipulated in Article (4) of Law No. (21) of 1998 when a competing service provider starts offering a service licensed under this law to the public.
- Entities must register the data and frequencies of wireless stations or devices used by security authorities, the Ministry of Interior, or the armed forces without fees.
Applies to: All governmental bodies, public institutions, organizations, and individuals involved in telecommunications activities within Qatar, including those operating networks or providing services.
